Information we use
We store your verified email, account creation and sign-in times, purchase references, membership access, your first opening of paid materials, lesson completion, and workbook answers you choose to save. Please use fictional or redacted practice material. Do not save confidential client records, passwords, or sensitive personal information in workbooks.
We also keep email preferences and dated consent records. We do not ask for your age, gender, or family status at signup. When you email support, we receive your address and whatever information you include.
Why we use it
We use account information to sign you in, provide purchased access, save your learning, handle billing or support requests, and protect the service. We may review progress when helping you. Optional progress check-ins require your separate choice and are not continuous monitoring. Promotional email also requires a separate choice; signing in or buying a course does not subscribe you.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and account database and processes request information, including IP addresses, for delivery and security. Resend delivers sign-in emails and processes the recipient address and message. Stripe processes payments and payment-related information; we store purchase references, not your card number or security code. Support email is handled through our email provider. These providers process information to operate their services. We may disclose necessary records where law requires it or to resolve a payment dispute.
Cookies, previews, and the site guide
We use a secure session cookie that expires after seven days. Free preview progress stays in your browser; signed-in course progress is stored in your account. We do not currently use advertising pixels or marketing cookies, sell personal data, or share it for targeted advertising. Public demos use fictional data. The site guide uses curated answers, does not call an AI model, and does not save your conversation. Optional read-aloud uses your browser’s voice service; processing depends on your browser and selected voice. We do not access your microphone.
Your choices
Change optional marketing and progress-check-in choices in My account. Necessary sign-in and service messages are separate. Email us to request access, correction, an export, or deletion of your information. We may verify account ownership before acting. We will handle requests according to applicable law, including any applicable appeal or complaint rights. Some records may need to be retained for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or disputes.
Retention and security
We retain account and learning information while needed to provide your account and support, and retain transaction and consent records as needed for legal obligations and disputes. You may request deletion rather than leave an unused account open. Access to account data is restricted; no online service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data outside your home country.
Updates
This notice reflects the services currently used. We will update it when our practices change and provide additional notice or choices where required. Effective November 4, 2026.
